Available Gibbons and Species
 Javan gibbon (Hylobates moloch) is critically endangered and endemic to Java. There are fewer than 4000 left in the wild. GCC houses the only Javan gibbons in the USA: Shelby (male, born 18 May 1983) Khusus (female, born 11 Jan 1995) Simpang (male, born 23 May 2000) Perak (male, born 16 Nov. 2001) Medena (male, born 27 Feb. 2002) Isabella (female, born 28 Aug 2003) Leon (male, born 5 June 2004) Oula (female, born 5 June 2009) |
 Northern white-cheeked gibbon (Nomascus leucogenys) is nearly extinct in S.
