We are excited to announce that we hit our October match goal of $5,000 which means  we got another $5,000 from our Anonymous Sponsor for a total of $10,000. Thank you!  We are so grateful for all of your support!  We look forward to updating you on a potential property.  Land use and zoning is different in every county so we will give you more details once we are ready.  Please continue to share the campaign with others. Relocation Fund

TICK FIRE The Tick Fire which started October 24th was less than three miles away from the center.  After speaking with the fire captain we decided not to evacuate.  Instead the staff took shifts around the clock to make sure we were prepared to evacuate in the event of a sudden shift in the wind.  We were without power for three days, with an emergency generator to run some of our basic and essential equipment and appliances.  Unfortunately some of our appliances' circuit boards got damaged from the power surge.  We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave to us during this time.  We were able to repair our commercial refrigerator, purchase a used washer & dryer.  Additionally, our past volunteer Joshua Alvarez donated a new stove.   The gibbons are happy to be getting a variety of cooked produce once again!  We also would like to remind all firefighters and first responders that you will always be welcome at the center free of charge.  Thank you!

Help us purchase a second generator to run our well in an emergency and a generator switch kit. A switch kit would allow us too easily flip to our generator without rewiring.
